The NEW Sweet Potato is the refined swallowtail version of the original Sweet Potato - the board that transformed what surfing is to me (and I hope many others).
The Sweet Potato converts waves that would normally require a longboard (or even just be a non surf day) into loads and loads of fun because of the insane amount of volume packed into a very short board that is loose and packs tons of drive.
The trademark deep double barrel concave essentially splits the board in half when tipped over and driving through turns, making the board feel way more narrow than it actually is. The new tail outline, combined with some tweaks on the bottom contours through the fins, has increased the maneuverability for tighter pocket turns without taking away the projection and grovel speed in gutless surf

Shore2Surf Woolacombe is a surf hire outlet and surf shop stocking wetsuits, surfboards, skateboards, hardware and clothing in North Devon. Located less than a five minute walk to the golden sands of Woolacombe beach and sandwiched between the fantastic surfing breaks of Combesgate to the north and Putsborough sands to the south. The north Devon region is relatively easily accessible to the rest of the country and is the first surfing region you'll reach when travelling to the south west.
Within a short car journey you also have access to one of the country's best beach breaks - Croyde bay. More powerful, plunging breakers create fantastic performance surfing waves, but be aware of rip currents and crowded conditions. Just round the corner is Saunton where more cruisy waves and vast open spaces offer a longboarder's paradise and more beginner and intermediate friendly waves. Slightly further afield you also have quality and spacious conditions at Westward Ho!
